can't lock screen on p900 after erasing unwanted application files. Any suggestions?

Do u mean after uninstalling apps?
What does the fact that it won't lock have to do with an auto screenlock?
Also make sure the phone isn't on charge as the screen can't be locked when charging

i just uninstalled files from the applications folder. i remember the file as common security i thought it was part of the application i wanted to get rid of?

So the Common Security thing was somethin u uninstalled from the list & not a file u deleted with a file manager or anythin?
Have u backed up the phone on your PC? If so just restore it to its previous state.
Otherwise u may need to do a Master Reset
