Hey there fellow Esatonians!

I have a P900 battery here but it doesn't seem to work. When i put it in my P900 and place it in the syncstation to charge, the red light comes on but the phone does not boot up to say it's charging.

Also, when the phone is out of the cradle, it will not switch on.

I don't know how a battery can just die, anybody have any suggestions?

Thanks

Your problem sounds very familiar to mine. I just sent my P900 back to SE service last week. My problem was the phone was not charging the battery, when I plug in charger the (batt. icon does not flash and led does mot stay lit) batt. % will go up but it drain very fast once unplugged. The phone seems warmer than normal. Try a new batt. with no result (did master reset and internal disk formatt also). Finally just call SE and they told me to send it back. Also with no batt in phone but plug into charger it will turn on. I though it was the batt. but new one fail to charge also.

@baseballfanz

Thanks for the reply.

I've just tested the battery with a digital volt-meter, and i'm getting absolutely no reading from it at all. I just took the battery out of the P900 and plugged a charger in, and the red light came on just the same as it did with the battery in. This leads me to believe that the battery has been bent or subject to abnormal pressure, which has resulted in a loss of connectivity to it's terminals internally. This is a second hand battery and was sent with a phone i bought off somebody, so i don't know it's history.

Oh well, not to worry.

Thanks!
