> help! problems with P900 booting up
Bookmark topic
hi newbie here and looking deseperately for some help.
I performed a master reset on my P900, this seemed to be fine. It powered off and on again. When it came back on, it went to the mode screen ie select phone mode, flight mode or power off. whatever I select, the sim code screen pops up for about 1sec then the whole thing reboots. does this everytime, whether with sim card in or not.
I've tried holding down the power button for about 20secs, I've tried repeatedly yanking out the battery then putting it back in. No joy.
can anyone please help?
thanks for looking in

Sounds to me like you've screwed up the OS. I suggest you go here:
http://www.sonyericsson.com/updateservice/P900/frameset.htm
Choose 'Restore' mode, and it will reflash your phone with the latest firmware.
If you haven't backed up your data, tough! You should back up your data daily!
Hope this helps
