I think it would be GREAT if a small improvement were made to the wap site:

I think that the accesskey="#" should be added to all of the 'next' links and accesskey="*" should be added to all of the 'prev' links. This way, it would be possible to get to the next or previous screens just by hitting # or * and without having to scroll to the bottom of the page and selecting the link.

from reading christersson.org and the ericsson wap developer's .pdf file, the link should read
<a href="www.anything.com" accesskey="#">Next</a>
or
<a href="www.anything.com" accesskey="*">Prev</a>

just my thoughts...

In my experience, adding the "accesskey" attribute to an anchor tag causes a compile error on the T68i. Any workaround for that?

It's all there if you use xhtml. Go to Esato home on WAP, then choose xhtml. You will find that * is back, # is next and 0 is last post in thread. This post was posted from a T68i

I believe this is only possible on a wap-browser that supports Xhtml(wap 2.0), if I'm not mistaken.
