> Jotter notes keep dissappearing!

Just moved from p9 to p910. Before I did so I managed to put all my notes(around 80)on the desktop of my laptop, on one icon, although I don't have an app to look at them.
I then transfered them through irda, and hey presto they were in my jotter again. But, they have dissappeared, twice now.
Can anyone tell my why they do this?
