Hello again avid duffry-problem watchers. Here again with the latest update in the continuing saga of getting my p910 to behave.
The 9 months I was using my p900 I had HandyDay 2004 on it and thought it was great. Getting my p910 a few weeks ago prompted me to 'upgrade' to HD 2005.
All went well. I thought it was a good app with a couple of niggles (I would like to be able to change the background pic without having to design a whole skin and I liked having my tasks listed).
I bought it from Handango and although I had a message about downloading the licence, having visited the epocware site it said that I didn't need to go through the registration process as I had bought it online.
Now the damn app has decided that my 'trial period' has expired and is refusing to play ball (or anything else for that matter).
You will be shocked to hear that over a week after emailing the manufacturer and I have yet to hear back.
Anyone had this, anyone know what to do?
Thanks for reading another of my extended posts.
Duffry

Follow the instructions in the e-mail that you might have gotten when you bought it. Go to the web site mentioned and download the license.sis file and install it on the phone. Then launch the app and click on find license. It worked for me.

That seems to be the problem.
Maybe it's me being daft (probably) but I can't find it anywhere. I followed the instructions and nothing.
Do you know where abouts I should be able to find it?
Thanks for your help.

Here's what it said in the email I received from Handango:
Registration Note: Once you have downloaded and installed your software, use the registration key above to unlock the full version of the software.
I did this but then it started sayiong about the licence.

Go to epocwares site and log in with your email and password you should then hve listed the products you have bought and may be able to obtain a copy of your license from there.

I have the same problem. I bought Handy Day 2005 in November from handango and epocware claim they have no record of the purchase. I need a new license because I've changed my phone but they've gone silent on me.
Everyone else just sends me a new key...

This sort of thing is shocking. I don't mind places having problems etc but not replying to emails is just crappy.
It's been over a week since I emailed epocware and nothing.
Aaaaaaaaaaggggggggggggggghhhhhh!

ok, well. I found the problem.
After much mucking about I tried 'downloading the application' again. This seems to be the place to get the licence (though only if you trawl carefully through the FAQ will you discover this.
Also, it transpires, this download service does not support Firefox.
I had to open an IE window to do all this in before it would take me to the download page (the last thing I downloaded from within IE was Firefox!)
Well, at least that's that one sorted.
Thanks for all your comments.

Yeah, but it doesn't work if it's for a different IMEI...
I'll email them again, but won't hold my breath
