I have a P910i (O2 branded) and have been trying to install UnReal onto the phone.

The install completes fine and I have the latest version of the UnReal software, but when I go to access the software it is nowhere to be found on the desktop.

Using a file manager browser, I can see the files etc, and I can even run the uninstall, but the application just isn't there to access.

Has anyone had or heard of this problem before?

Before anyone asks, yes I did do a search and could not find the answer.

Thanks

Have u restarted the phone (shouldn't need to but sometimes solves a problem)

Also by Desktop I assume u mean the AppList?
Check which Apps folder u are looking in, new apps go in Unfiled so choose either Unfiled or All (u can move it to other folders as u wish)

Yea, done all that. The unfilled folder is the first place I look after I do a install.

Totally bugging me this..... and now I've just read that it is possible that Unreal doesn't support or won't play AAC.

Its not that good to be honest.
I've got about 140 songs on mine at the moment so I tried Unreal Player so I could make playlists but it was UNBELIEVABLY slow at managing so many tracks! Literally a few MINUTES to load a playlist!
Needless to say I promptly uninstalled!

Perhaps u could try reinstalling, it should work so maybe just somethin went wrong in the first installation

Mmmm, I guess that I'll just stay with the default player then. I'll just create folders for playlists etc and use that as I've tried the install process quite a few times now.

What a shame as it was quite a good app on the P800 I used to have

The P8 needed something else as the default Audio player was poor as an mp3 player.
The P9s Music player is considerably better though & I'm quite happy with it as my primary mp3 player
