O2 have admitted they have a compatibility issue with SOME K700s and as a result have stopped selling it! A bit extreme if u ask me, I expect a f/w update would have solved it.

Anyway they are exchanging K700s for another phone if u are not happy with it. You need proof of purchase obviously.
However as they don't do K7s now u can't get a replacement one so u must change phone. The selection is somewhat limited!:

-N6610i

I don't think so somehow!
They won't even offer a K500 or let u pay the difference on somethin else such as the S700

Don't know but supposedly O2 have a problem delivering SMS to them!
They work fine on every other Network so the problem must be theirs! I wouldn't be surprised if it due to the O2 firmware

I never read that, did it cover the fact that O2 are exchanging K7s for inferior phones?

Me neither.. what I find interesting is if you make a claim through O2 inurance they send you a completely unbranded K700i.

I've had no problems either but some people do.
If they're providing unbranded ones that suggests the issue is likely to be in the o2 f/w! They can't fob u off with a different phone over insurance so u get a proper one.
When will Networks stop screwing up phones with 'Network Customisation'!
