Whats your favourite bit of music to a film, dont have to be the sound track..

i think Oasis - Supersonic at the start of The Football Factory is class sums up the feeling just before watching a footy match oh its great.

Also the drum and bass track from Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels i belive its EZ Rollers - walk this land, another good choon from that film which kinda sums it up his the dusty springfield track called spooky.

the first bit that comes to mind, and which I have always liked, is the saxaphone bit in "Will you" in "Breaking Glass". I just got the original DVD a few weeks back and its very rare and out of print (except for copies of course!)

then there is "power of love" (huey lewis and the news) from "back to the future", I always enjoy that

"secret garden" (bruce springsteen) in "Jerry Macguire" always chokes me up a bit

and lastly (for now) the background music in 5th element is pretty good

Ok, I think I like pretty much ANYTHING from the matrix. Yes, that's right, ANYTHING. Whatever is played in those movies (especially the first) is genious.

I can see that there are also some inspiring classical pieces in the LOTR trilogy, especially the main music

The Intermezzo from Cavalleria Rusticana, which is played at the end of The Godfather is a beautiful piece of music.

The theme music from Bridge Over the River Kwai and from The Great Escape.

The theme tune from Superman the Motion Picture.

All the music from De-lovely.
