Here is a snippet on when we can expect to see the K300 out in the stores:
"Arima Communication will secure a new handset order from Sony Ericsson Mobile Communications, with shipments to start in August, according to company sources. Lite-On Technology, meanwhile, will begin shipments of a clamshell smartphone model to telecom carriers in the Asia Pacific in the second quarter, company sources said, adding that the model may also be shipped to LG Electronics (LGE).
Both Arima and Lite-On declined to comment on the report, citing customer confidentiality.
Arima will enter mass production of Sony Ericsson’s K300 model in March, following production of the J200 at the end of last year, company sources stated. Monthly shipments of the K300 will surpass 500,000 units as production expands, the sources said.
In addition to Sony Ericsson, Arima will also have orders from NEC, which should top two million units in shipments this year, the sources anticipated.
Lite-On reportedly holds one handset order from Alcatel and another from LGE, with shipments forboth orders slated to start at the beginning of the second half. Lite-On is also shipping the GFX65 model for Siemens Mobile, currently, the sources said, adding that the vendor may place a new order with Lite-On in the third quarter."
