> T-Mobile USA, "My email" and Triggers
Bookmark topic
In the U.S. T-Mobile provides a services called "My EMAIL", where it will poll your corporate or outside EMAIL acounts and make them available on your phone. One of the services it provides is EMAIL triggers. Meaning when you receive a new EMAIL into one of your monitored accounts, the T-Mobile server will send your phone an SMS which will tell it to do a POP3 download. T-Mobile has add-on software included with phones like the IPAQ 6315 to make this work. Does anyone know how easy it would be using the SE P910 development tools to write a simple program that would monitor SMS messaages for these "triggers" and download from the appropriate account? The trigger SMS contains the name of the account, the from, and subject.

Assuming it's the same as a p900, you don't need additional software. I "pull" my email (except Gmail which require SSL) with built in email client. I heard Profimail will let you pull Gmail. ( I have Earthlink). You can go to Sonyericsson.com have have it set up via sms to your phone.
Just goto message and select your email account, click on "get and send" and it will connect to your email server and get your email.
