i am thinking of buying a z1010 but i have a few questions about it.

when someone calls, does their name or number show up on the external lcd?
what is the usb port on the side of it for?
for anyone in australia with this phone, can it be used for mms or gprs on the optus network?
is the battery talk time really only 3-4 hours?

HI there mate i recently purchased the z1010 and have some answers to your answers to your questions...

1. yes you can see who is calling from the outside of the phone

2. the usb port on the side of the phone is so that you can download your own content onto the phone e.g ringtones MP3 files Pictures and videos i've got about 10 episodes of south park on my phones so its pretty sweet ( using the 128 megabyte mem card ofcourse)

3. It is possible to get wap/gprs and mms it took me about 8 hours on customer service but i finally got it workin , the sonyericsson website has optus settings on their or you can ask optus for the z600 settings they work fine... i hope this has helped you

The talk time is outstanding as it comes with the 1260mAh battery, the same type for P900 and P910. This message was posted from a T39

Remember, if you are in Aussie an buying it for cheap on Three, the phone is locked, and you must spend $195 on credit before they will unlock it.
