> SMS Messaging on orrange branded K700i

I have a problem on my new K700i, when i select a new message it doesnt give the the option of sms message or picture message, but just takes me to the picture message option.
I cannot find any way of getting into write an sms. Even if i repy to an sms, it opens up in picture messaging mode.
Has anyone seen the before? or have any ideas wht to do?

Sounds like a firmware problem. What version do you have? Get the software reloaded. There are many threads which might be of help to you.

I used to have exactly the same thing on my Orange K700i. For me it was because I hadn't power cycled the phone after my sim updates. Have you done so? If you have, call customer support and ask them to re-send the updates.
