Hi everyone,

Couple of questions :

(1) Can anyone recommend a good/nice in-car cradle for the P900/910.

(2) Also does anyone use their P900/910 for GPS navigation ? What program is good, Wayfinder ? Or are dedicated GPS systems better.

Thanks

For the phone holder use the HCH37 holder. I still think that its the best as you can plug the charger and handsfree into the base.
There are rumours that TomTom will be released for the Pxxx series very soon, that is the software to wait for for sat nav.

Its not so much of a dongle but a gps unit .Some are wired (for use with laptops /pda's ) are some are bluetooth (for use with phones/pda's).I have a bluetooth one .You can use them for various applications such as satellite navigation , route finding , speed camera detection software . They vary in price from as little as about £50 to about £300 . check out this page for some reviews on bluetooth ones http://www.pocketgps.co.uk/menu_gpshardware3.php .Hope this helps a little .

I contacted TomTomGo's distributer, PDA-Online with regards to a TomTomGo product for the P900/910, and here's their reply :

"Yes the Tom Tom Mobile will work with the P900/P910 as the smart phone runs on the symbian OS.

not to mention that it is so far also wrong...

But perhaps some day after CeBit this statement will be true, but don't go and buy the linked item or you will be disappointed.

If you want a Bluetooth GPS I can recommend

http://stores.ebay.co.uk/bluetooth-gps-discounted-com

works great with wayfinder and, above all, has standard batteries
