How good really is it? on about getting one nxt month. Is it much better than K700 for indoor pics? Whats the best cam phone at mo? Is it worth a upgrade from my K700, will i really notice the diffrence in cam quality

S700 has a 1,3 mpixel CCD camera.. so I think you will find the S700 camera alot better then the K700.
And the screen of the s700 makes picture viewing a real pleasure from the K700 (I had a K700 before).
I definately think you should consider getting a S700..

is their any better for around £350 ie samsung d500 in low indoor light as most my shots are indoor.i know d500 good for this as my mates got one and my k700 is useless indoor.

Well, here is example S700i against Nokia 7610.
All pics taken with this setting :
a. Nokia : High Quality, megapixel size, night mode off.
b. Sony Ericsson : 1,3 MP size; white balance auto; night mode off; photometry off; exposure +- 0.
