I used one yesturday and I must say the quality of photos printed from my K700i were utter rubbish as were other peoples photos that they printed from there mobile phones. A guy was showing me his photos that he took on what looked like from a safari holiday in Africa. Now thoughs photos were spot on, he used a 3MP camera. I hope SE bounces out a 2MP or more camera phone soon as thats whats needed to take half decent photos.

I would have thought that pictures produced using a 3MP camera would be better than those taken with a K700, which has a 300,000 pixel camera.
A S700 should be more up to the task.

I question why they even bothered putting anything less than whats in proper digital cameras into a phone as the quality is just crap. Photos printed off a S700i are better I know but they still aint good enough to seriously take a photo and print it. Hopefully something better will be out soon.

Cameras in mobile phones started off as a novelty feature, not as a serious attempt at including a camera capable of print quality photographs.
As cameraphones have cuaght on in popularity the manufcaturers have increased the capabilities of the cameras they put in their handsets. The Japanese and Koreans already have cameraphones with multiple megapixels.
The S700 has an excellent camera and the pictures taken with it are top notch, they look superb when viewed on a computer. The S700 may not have the world's best camera, but it is quite capable of taking holiday snaps.
