I've been using both the T300 and now the T68i and in both cases text messages sent from certain phones never reach me. Seemingly my SE refuses messages from certain Nokia's. Is this a SW problem on my phone coz I went to an SE service point where they offered to flash my phone but I'd prefer a second opinion. This message was posted from a T68i

Does switching it off and on work? This message was posted from a K500

Isn't there a possibility that your phone isn't accepting messages from certain numbers? But most probably, this seems to me as a firmware problem. An update should sort things out.

@gogigov... I've tried everything from switching it off to taking out the battery and allowing the phone to "sleep"... I'd hate to have it flashed only for the problem to persist. This message was posted from a T68i

@brix, we had a local problem with a t105 and a new firmware was made by SE to solve the problem. This message was posted from a K500

@govi: I'll just take my phone to hospital so they can fix her up. I can't afford not receiving messages from my girlfriend. This message was posted from a T68i

A fw reload looks imminent! It takes only some minutes. Why don't you just do it!

They said my phone would have to stay overnight which is a bit tricky because it is essential. Should ask them for a courtesy phone...maybe the new Nokia 9500:-D. This message was posted from a T68i

Remove sim card, mem stick, stylus etc.... And drop it off late evening, then take it early next morn. (Just set divert to your gf's phone and be with her for the rest of the day. ;-) ) This message was posted from a K500

@govigov: LOL... I'll do just that would hate to see the response my gf's face when one of my female friends tries to call me. Should drop it off @ the "hospital" tomorrow. This message was posted from a T68i
