I still wonder if they only put the joystick counter in the early phones because the joystick was new and they expected some failure rate and they wanted to be able to have some statistic to guage the failure rate.
Once the joystick proved successful and reliable they no longer needed the joystick counter

Joystick counter is a cool thing . It makes you aware for how many times have you used ur joystick after you purchased ur cell . When i had t68i my joystick counter was 7000+

my T68i joystick counter is currently at 82583 and I am no game player but mind you the phone is 4 years old although not used alot for the last 2 years
