I have put three additional themes on my Sony Ericsson T610. However, when I went to change my theme today, it said that my memory was full and I should delete some files. Does each section of the phone, ie, pictures, themes and ring tones have separatee memory space, or deleting from My Pictures will release space in Themes?

Thanks.

Hmm..I think it is the whole phone's memory..So like, if your games folder had the games are filling up the most of your memory..It's end up as what is taking up the overall memory...I mean, what happens when you want to fill your phone with ringtones? You can't do it if your only limited to a portion of the overall value..

T610 indeed has shared memory. What is the size of the theme you are trying to install? The new theme must have free space a lil more than its size to install. This message was posted from a K500

Yeah. Unlike some samsungs, Se phones have free memory allocation. It can be used to fill up with anything you desire. Till it fills up. There are no limitation on how many tones or games one can fill. Go on filling till the memory is full!

Go to Pictures & Sounds, select themes. Then hit the "more" button and select Memory status. Here you find the allocation of the memory your are using and how much you got free. Also helps to find where you use the most and find areas where you can save memory.

A settings reset will bring in some memory. This message was posted from a K500
