> MS Duo Pro Problem

Just put My Duo Pro (512) in my card reader and connected it to the laptop and I got a message saying "not formatted, format now?" (I formatted it on the phone). When I select format it can’t. Is this a compatibility issue with my card reader or a software issue with the laptop?... can anyone help please. The card reader works with MS Duo.

I had a similar problem just this evening having bought another P900 this week.
I formatted it in the phone but that didn't create the required folders until I access it using the phones file manager.
after that all was well

Try updating the drivers for the memory card reader. If it's working without a problem in your Pxxx, then i'd say that the memory card reader doesn't support it, or doesn't recognise the specific card you're trying to use. You're not the only person having problems with Pro Duo's in memory card readers.

always search for supporting "MS Duo" and "MS PRO", they dont write down as DuoPRO but if u see 2 of them, buy that cheek

its probably becuase your laptop is only compatible with duo as opposed to duo pro. you could probably do a firmware update and it might sort it out
