guys, i know there are software that makes apps run during bootup like sman. However, I would like to know if there is a program or a folder in the Pxxx where it list all the existing apps that are part of the bootup process.
Im asking this because its seems the bootup process for my P910i is getting longer and both sman and bootman doesn't show any apps in the boot up list.

i saw that during the boot, if u have "advanced call manager" or like that, they boot theirselves up automatically.
also if u use sman, your screenshot is important too, qhile booting up your phone, sman loads that screenshot without its own program, ex: my screenshot includes sman, messages and pictures, on the other hang, after booting i see that messages are loaded automatically while booting
as a though, as much as u have programs on your desktop, as long as u wait boooting like windows at PC's

windows does have that.. however, tinkering around the registry could somehow make things a bit faster. And that is what I'm looking for under Pxxx - on where this "registry" is? There should have something like a bootup list or folder that carries shortcuts of apps to be loaded on bootup

Just a little note... the Pxxx series do not run a Windows/Microsoft operating system, and are not necessarily the same. I don't think you'd be able to modify a bootup folder, even if you found one, as the system files are locked by the operating system.

im not saying it should be the same as windows, but whichever operating system, there would be by theory a place where info such as the boot apps would be in.
Anyway, using SMAN, i got into C:\system\programs\ it seems this is the right spot. Can anyone confirm this? did anyone tried tinkering on this folder? I want to know other people's experience before I do it myself

many programs have their own bootup file such as Magic themes, Magic Profiles Pro or Advanced Call Manager. i saw that if i uninstall magic themes my free ram is %54 but; when its installed and even it is NOT running free ram on start up is %45 ... in most of these programs u can select whether u want to start it when the fone boots up. but; some progs doesnt have this option. For example: Magic themes or Profiles. the company who make these progs use another application for booting them up named "Symbianwave Starter" or sth like that. You cant see that starter at anywhere but in Uninstall list. but; when you uninstall starter, the main program isnt working also...
In system programs like Messages and Phonebook; you CANT select if you want to start em at the boot up. boot files of these in the Z or A drive which can be ONLY READ. so the only option is a special application written by really professional ppl or to design ur own firmware or to edit the existing firmware.
