when i talk on the phone, the volume isn't very loud at all (not thru the speaker or the handsfree).. i'm not saying i can't hear the other person. I can hear him/her fine .. but just seems its not loud enough.. it's like when i turn the volume to hi, and take the phone away from my hear when the other person is talking, i can't tell if he/she is still talking..is this normal?

i did do that.. still the same... are all SE phones like this?? i mean which nokia, practically everyone who is standing beside u can hear what the other person on the line is talking about.

Personally, having a phone speaker that transmits the sound further than it should be is too much. I wouldn't want the person beside me hearing a private conversation. Plus, if I'm in the bus, subway or train and the people around me could hear the other person on my phone, that could be considered as inconsiderate and unethical. I am already disturbing the privacy of the person sitting or standing next to me.

yea.. but when i'm on the bus.. the engine noise is quite loud.. i have to really pay attention what the person on the other line is saying.. even when i push the phone hard to my ear

When i face this problem, i usually restart the phone and everythings gets back to normal,,
I agree, compared to the T68i, the volume is quite low!
