Ide like to start by saying hi to everyone i havent been on 4quite a while. Yesterday was a great step 4 me i got my k700i
. I realy like it however i need 2 find out how to remove the camera sound wen on silent. I wud also like 2 say if any1 wants a new fone n got £150 get the k700i. Its much beta than the 6230 aswell. Thanks fo r any help. Lee

ive had my k700i for a months now and ive nevr had that sound on silent
maybe cuz of my firmware

well it all depends from the fw but in my experience there's one trick that works with all fw's,
1. call someone
2. he/she must answer
3. when you are "talking" with him go to camera mode and take a photo
but as you probably figured it out, this costs money and therefore i've just used it once and that was with r2l when i wanted to take a photo of my friend while he was sleeping, just for laughs....

The camera sound is permanently silenced if one does that? Or you would have to call someone while taking pictures silently? One idea would be to call a toll free number!
