As I'm going to try and flash my k700i later this evening I thought to myself that I'd better download the latest firmware before.
I bought 2 credits and proceeded to the download area within the program, then I came across these folders:
K700_R2AE033_BROWN_CID_16
K700_R2AE033_BROWN_CID_29
K700_R2AE033_RED_CID_29

What folder do I download from??

It depends what phone you have.

If your phone was bought from a shop it is likely to be
Red CID 29

The Brown phones are develper/prototype phones.

will the K700i ever be unlockable or debranded or firmware upgraded by the terminator dongle?

Multiserver has a button on it that will check your CID for you. Also Multiserver will not let you flash a wrong CID so you're safe either way.
