but from doing my own research... isnt S710 the same as S700?
as thats d version (S710) they have in d US?
(if they are the same phone, how comes S710 has EDGE, while the S700 doesnt)

S710 has an extre bit of hardware than the S710 to support edge. The american version is called S710a. (Correct me if i'm wrong.)

edge doesnt require extra hardware i think . s700 works on 900 , 1800 and 1900 mhz frequencies whereas s710 works on 850 1800 and 1900 .
