Argh! I'm having real trouble saving games in EscummVM. With all the games I try it says 'failed to save game state to file:monkeyVGA.sXX (XX being the save game number)

Any ideas? I've followed that damn shopkeeper dozens 'o' times!!

make sure you set the game path and the save path in EACH GAME, and also in the main "OPTIONS" part

e.g. goto options, misc, choose save game path as d:/

then click on your game and choose edit game, then goto paths

choose game path, e.g. d:/dott/

then choose save path as d:/dott/

i had problems saving also, until i set the option in both the general option menu, AND the game edit menu for each game
