Because the Pxxx can send it via IrDA, Bluetooth, E-Mail, etc, whereas the shitty Nokia's can't. Even if they can, they don't normally connect properly with SE phones anyway. What a load of rubbish!

I don't see a reason for it to be disabled in mms, but there are plenty of other options to send it. Besides, an MP3 is sorta large to be sending around in an mms anyway.

while i do admit there are alternate methods, fact remains that a shitty 6230 has extra functionality. and it would be nice to send mp3 ringtones to a phone that can't handle email attachments and which is not in your proximity.
