> V800 Phonebook Browsing Problem

Hi i have a problem browsing phonebook with my V800. When i press for example "F" during browsing, the phone book wouldn't jump to contact name start with "F". I found very difficult to search a contact using Up & Down arrow key....
This happen only when i switch the Default phonebook to "Contacts" . my problem only can be desolved by swtching Default phonebook to "USIM numbers". Anyone face the same problem ??
i m using V802SE flashed to R1J002

How do you press f? When you long press "3", it will take you to "d", then 2 short presses on "3" will take you to "f" . Correct?

I am having the same problem! Previously, I was running on European firmware which would register the phone as a V800. But when I flashed it to the Japanese firmware of R1J002 and it's now a V802SE, this browsing contact problem crops up.

u have to keyin the extra column "reading" for the search to function else it can only work on USIM contacts only

Thanks! It works!! Only thing is...... is there any shortcut to like just copy over the names for reading? I have like hundreds of names to key-in now

what you need to do is set your default phonebook to the one on your sim card, and then you can search your phonebook no problem
