Hi guys sorry if this has been posted already but i looked (honest) and could not find it.My p910i seems to randomly display people from my phonebook and sim,as in sometimes contacts are displayed from the phone book memory when someone calls and sometimes from the simcard instead even though all are set in the phones memory,ie one name and all numbers under that name, any ideas why this occurs as i thought all should be displayed from the phones memory if stored there when someone calls, and its kinda bugging me
Cheers

im using p8. when someone calls and if that person isnt in the phone memory, my p8 shows the name from the simcard phonebook. if the same number for same person is in both phone memory and simcard then my p8 shows the one in simcard and doesnt show the picture of him/her.

Store only numbers in phone memory and keep the back up by syncing to pc.

It's the same situation on my P910i. I deleted all the entries in the SIM so that the phone will have to rely solely in it's own phonebook.

I wondered if this was the case, you think that a choice to read solely from the phone only would be available, cheers for the help but i like to keep the sim backed up as well just in case, and its anoying the phone reads it, tried a s700i out and this didnt happen with that handset so you would think the p910 would be the same,oh well maybe in the next firmware upgrade hey

I think the other way. Why not to shout at the network to find out what may be wrong with the sim?
