Hey folks...

Apparently there's something wrong with the latest K700 firmware version (R2AE033) and iSync (current version 1.5), that doesn't let iSync do the thing that's supposed to be doing (that'd obviously be syncing)...I just upgraded about a week ago to R2A033 and tried several things to remedy the situation (like master reseting, pairing from the beginning phone and computer, creating new users, switching to a friend's mac), but it's all a no-go, when my 2-yr old T68i has no problems at all...Kinda weird if you ask me, trying to nail this thing down and see what the culprit is.

It all starts at the point of setting up a new bluetooth device and the box with the supported features of pairing comes up, where one normally gets the change to tick the "use with iSync to sync calendars and contacts" selection, well...that's all grey-ed out and hence the problems, question being why? Next step would be to select a new device from within iSync...well there's no K700 presented in the devices pane either. Strange strange strange...

Anyone else here facing an identical behaviour with OSX and the latest firmware? This is driving me nuts!

I had problems using my S700i with iSync 1.5 after a fresh install of OS X 10.3.7.

I fould the solution here:

I'm glad to report that the syncing now is fully functional. I'd given up hope messing around with deleting prefs and the SyncService folder, but then tried to pair the devices both ways and that did the trick. Kudos for that Jools, I'm now a happy camper

the solution is:

1. remove any pairing info on the s700i and the mac
2. initiate pairing from S700i.
3. Once paired, start iSync.
4. Options to sync address book, calendar etc will appear ( should have 3 options)

The phone should appear in iSync.
