Hi, I'm gonna replace my P800 housing - It's arrived today and Just wondered about the speaker. I read something about it being stuck to the inside of the back part of the phone and you need to buy a new part to fit it to your new housing?

Is this true and what will I need to buy??

Thanks a lot!!
Dave

I have changed a P900 casing..and I think I am correct that like the P900 the P800 speaker module is just pressed in to a clip type fastner and not secure with adhesive or any other sort... and the contacts from the phone to the speaker just press against each other when in place...
As long as you are careful.. and take your time it is easy to do...

No thanks, have got a site that shows how to dismantle. Thats where it says the speaker is attached on.. I'll do it anyway, I might end up attaching the speaker with foam and tape or something HAHA

Thanks,
Dave
