> K700i camera malfunctioning

Has anyone heard of the K700i camera just conking out? If I try to use the camera on my phone it begins to start up, ie black screen and changed function buttons, then it cuts out and goes back into standby mode?????

maybe worth you checking what your version of firmware is.
To get into the engineering menu, make sure your phone is in standby mode and not in one of the menus (new Ericssons) and press the following sequence.From there you can check your phones version.

If your firmware is the latest version then you may find more info on your camera playing up if try the search option, failing that, if your phone is still under warranty then perhaps you should have it replaced.

first, try to change or re-install your theme (that somehow worked for me before). If that doesn't work, do a master reset. If that still doesn't work, then have your firmware upgraded.
