Great site! I need help choosing the best SE w/bluetooth. What makes these cell phones the best choice? I plan to use Cingular, am I restricted to the phones in Cingular's local store? Thanks.

I live in Florida USA close to NASA, but I travel all over the Southeastern Region of the US. For reasons of my own, I have never owned a cell phone, and have only traveled w/an ATT Card & Sony Vaio Laptop. After many jibs from family, friends, etc. I've decided to join the Cellular World.

I've been reading quite a bit on the subject and decided on Cingular as a SP, and would like Bluetooth for wireless connections. I've always liked Sony Products (40XBR TV, Sony DVD, Sony VCR, etc), and a friend told me Sony Ericsson made great cellphones. That's pretty much all I know at the moment. My budget is not unlimited, but can afford to spend on quality & performance. The "biggest bang for the buck" comes to mind.

Feel free to jump in and post your opinions on these phones. Thanks.

Hmmm.. If you need PDA functions along with bluetooth, i'll strongly recommend a P910. This message was posted from a T230

I believe the k700 would be a good phone for you. Other nice phones would be a s700 or the mighty p910.

Only some of the SE phones work in the us of a due to bandwidth issues.(hope you know us has 850/1800/1900 whereas rest of world is 900/1800/1900) you can try the P910a from SE. Costly but, the best phone in the market. You will love it. Very business minded phone. This message was posted from a K500

I agree with govigov, I have a 910a that my girlfriend bought from the sony website so it was unlocked and I also have cingular/at&t (depending who you talk to) and the only problem I have, since cingular and at&t support this model is useing MMS. Every thing else works just fine i got the phone charged it up put in my odSIM from at&t and presto it worked just fine. I had a t68i befor that and it worked great too. If you are really worried about price then get one of those and put the sim in thier and it will work great, only problem by you is the coverge is not good with that model.
