> International SMS problem with k700i
Bookmark topic
I recently bought the k700i and use it with tmobile in the States. I send a lot of sms to freinds in Dubai. For some reason when i try to send it to one particular person it won't go through, but for everyone else it works. BUT, when i put my sim card in my old phone (nokia 7250i) it goes through to that person...any ideas? Thanks.

Welcome to esato. Pls double check the number in sim and on the phone. An invalid number may not allow the message to be send.

Welcome to Esato. Does the sms stay in the unsent folder or it is not delivered at all?

the message shows as sent, and moves into the sent items folder. but it's never recieved at the other end. the strangest thing is it works when i put my sim in my old phone...and i know the number is correct because i can call from my phonebook, but sms wont go through.

@txhanger
The K700 has had problems sending texts on the O2 network in the UK, it may be that there is a similar problem with your network in the U.S.

Hi!!
'and i know the number is correct because i can call from my phonebook'
I think it is the service centre number for sms that needs to be checked! Not your friends number!

But how does the other texts go thru if the service centre number is wrong?

If service centre number is wrong, the sms will not even leave the handset!
