> Z1010 problem!

Hi!
I have this problem with my z1010 it keeps losing signal. Every 5 or 10 min I get this stupid "SOS calls only". It really pisses me off, I've never experienced anything like this before, it started today. I donno what to do, i tried to turn it on and off but after couple minutes it does it again. At my house I only have one bar. This may seem no big deal to all of yu but I'm worried!!

Might be a temp glitch in the tower near your house. Is it like that all the time? (I.e in good reception areas too? )

no actually I only get 1 bar at my house and nearby. Anywhere else its like 3 or 4 bars. But I've never got sos calls only thingy before. Oh shit it keeps repeating!! just before I had 3 bars than i got sos calls only thingy again but 20 secs later it was good again.

Call up your service PROVIDER and ask whether there's some maintenance work goin on. Its a commo occurence with me when my network is under maintenance.

I get a similar message from time to time on both my K700 and my S700, both of which are on O2. I believe this means that the handset is no longer receiving a signal from your network, but that it is receiving a signal from other networks enabling you to use them to make a call to the emergency services should you need to do so.
There was a thread discussing this feature not too long ago and, if I remember correctly, the general consensus was that this feature isn't actually supported in the UK. Whether it is supported in Poland or not, I'm not too sure.

I don't think it should happen every 10 minutes, perhaps your network is having problems at the moment. It may also be the case that your handset is faulty.

How does the signal go? In my case, the signal bars disappear one by one until there's none left. And then the screen displays "sos calls only"

Try calling them, and try taking it to a good reception area. (Away from this culprit tower.)
