> media player alternatives for S700i
Bookmark topic
Recently bought myself an S700i, impressed despite its bugs. I've been converting a few of my mpeg and avi files to 3gp to play on it, but one thing which is a pain is you can skip through any videos, if you stop it you just have to play it from the beggining. Another problem is that you can't enlarge the video, so I was wondering if anyone knows of a good alternative to the standard media player on it?
Cheers

I know, it is a pain having to stop the vid mid way and having to restart. Isn't there some clever boots who can develop an add-on super video player/ editor?
They would make a packet if they could.

I THINK on one has YET done that. While in mp3 playing mode, you can press and hold the right joystick to fastforward. Not sure if it works with videos.

Can that be resolved by a firmware fix?

It can if the software developers think. So many updates for the k700i and still that option is missing. No java apps can do this, as se has a strict security kinda thing that does not allow java to access main mem, bt or ir. So creating a java app is difficult. :-(

Ah well, guess I'll have to put up with it for now. I looked into realone mobile but its only compatible with a few nokias and pda phones.
Have any of you tried playing a vid over 177x144 but still within the resolution of the phone? I've not got an editor that allows me to do that yet, just wondering weather its worth searching for another bit of software....
