I think that you came to the right place for phones. They are definately not rubbish!
What sort of functions are you looking for in a phone?

Your friends might be Nokia fans for sure! First of all- i like the feel of SE phones. Their menu is simple and intuitive. You don't have to go to settings to hear the ringtones unlike in some Nokias. There are many more reasons Support for themes for instance. This message was posted from a T230

your friends are all mad, SE phones arnt crap, infact, from my point of view i would say they r one of the best phones any one could possible have.

for examples, take the features for instance, they are well cool!!!

however, one thing i have released abot SE phones is that there are very hard to unlock.

The mix of buildquality, design and the best looking and easy too use UI with changable themes does it for me.

For me SE is the premium brand on the phone market, not always the best value but always on top when it comes too emotions!

You also don;t have the Nokia Problem of saving stuff onto your Phone Memory and then transfer it to Memory Card...!
SE provides almost Virus Free Non Symbian OS...
SE Gives you value for Money
Plus the Most Important Reason...They don't stop repairing your phone once the model has been phased out or was not a seller..My Nokia 3210 has been refused for Repair by Nokiaas they say the phone is quite old and they don;t have the spare parts...So SE is still repairing phones quite old..From Orignal Sony and Ericsson Times...
Its just a matter of Choice...I would suggest first you decide what you want from the phone you will buy and accordingly Select the Model..The choice is your to choose what you feel is Best Valued for your Money...NEC/Samsung/Nokia/Alcatel/Sagem or SE..!

Regards

SE phones are exceptional to the following quote: things that are cheap are not necessarily economical.

the reason i purchused an SE was because i didnt want the same old phone, nokia seems to be making the same old s**t over and over with a differnt look, still using 128x128 screens, WHY WONT THEY GET WITH THE TIMES! it just seems they change the number and put a differnt weird looking cover on it and BAM its a new phone!

one thing that has grown to piss me off on the SE is loudspeaker isnt a 1 button activation, you have to go through menus...TERRIBLE

THANKS GUYS... this has helped a bit...

but i still dnt know what phone to buy. so i think i am gonna wait a bit and look around a bit more, and see which phone provides the best features.

However, one i thing i do know is that i am going purchase a SE phone as i think they are well cool, as they have this trendy look which really appeals to me.

what do other SE phone users think?
dont u agree that they appeal to everyone, unlike Nokia, which makes products that is aimed to different audiences/ users, for example THE LIPSTICK PHONE...

anyways thanx for helping me.
