Install the PC Suite and connect your phone to the sync station.

Either sync your contacts to Outlook using your phone as the original or click on the P900 icon in the taskbar and select backup.

It's worth performing a backup automatically every time you plan on going out somewhere, after all, you never know when something bad might happen, and i'm sure you wouldn't want to loose all your contacts, messages, calendar entries etc.

Soo many people break their phones and then moan that they didn't do a backup... don't be another one!

On that note, i should probably backup mine, it's been a while!

lol, i do go out, i'm just naughty and i don't sync my P900! Although in my defence, i haven't got anything critically important on it, and i've already got a backup of my contacts, so i'd be alright if anything happened to my baby

Use quickcontact to create a backup file, then email/beam/BT it over onto your PC: Their backup file maintains everything, categories, ringtones etc

Use syncronization with Outlook. It will allow you to edit the contact in Outlook also.
Or simply just send all contacts using infrared or bluetooth to your PC.
