Hi everyone, I just recently purchased a P910 and I have a problem with the case. I am using the Sony ICE-20 case.

When a call comes in and I remove the phone from the case, it always answers (assuming it bumps the OK button).

I had the same issue with my previous Treo 600, but there was an add-on program to solve this.

Does anyone know of a third-party app or suggestions on this?

It is pretty annoying because in the case, it always answers and I can never send it to busy.

Thanks.

I agree, i do not know of anny app that can do what you require. But a Piel Frama case is THE best case for the P9xx.

It even comes with an Ostrich Skin design! and all are expertly hand made. (so they say anyway)

Thanks... I looked at those cases and like the quality, but don't like the design at all. I would prefer a side loading case.

I guess lack of application support will continue to plague UIQ product lines...

This seems like a pretty basic problem that Sony Ericsson could have seen first hand on the first call made to the phone, I did.

Hi I have a Piel Frama case, and also get the problem of the phone answering the call when removing/flipping the case front. However my old P910i (first one lost) didn't do it!

I've been searching for a case for my P910 for a while now. Recently taken delivery of two, the bodglove and krussel?! And of course had the rubbish that SE give away with the phone!
Totally ignore the SE one, is rubbish, falls of the belt far too easily, and provides no protection whatsoever when it hits the floor.
The Krussel case is good, quite well made but a bit annoying in that you have to remove the front to write on the screen and does make getting at the stylus wuite difficult, whether this will get better over time I'll wait and see.
The bodyglove fits well, easy to get at the buttons and you can write straight through the plastic onto the screen, however the corners etc arent well protected should you drop it!!

On the whole, the Krussel is a case and the bodyglove more of a holder, at the moment I'm leaning towards using the bodyglove all the time! I'll keep you all posted if i change my mind!

the piel firma (sp)is a very much inferior case to that of the vaja one. Vaja make the best p900/10 case full stop.

Hit the menue button, then 1 for locking the phone. Here a discussion about good cases for the Pxxx series.

Yeh, but locking the keys wont stop it from answering when you hit "ok" though will it - whether the keys are locked or not the "Answer" key will still be available when a call comes in.

I think the simple answer is NO, you cant do anything abot it, I have the same prob and it P*ss*s me off! I just hae to get the ohone out of the case and to my ear as quick as possible!

Can you not change the settings to answer only when hitting ok instead of "any key answer"?
