Why don't we see red led's in mobiles? First it was all green, then came orange and blue or white, but not one phone with red leds. I'm writing about the leds in the keypad.
It could be so nice. Some cars have red lighting of the dashboard. It creates a warm atmosphere. I want that on my phone too!
Is there a technical reason? Maybe not enough light coming out of a red led to illuminate something other than itself? How do they do it in cars then?

Red would be good as they're cheaper to manufacture, operate at lower voltage and use less power. It's probably a cosmetic reason for not using them. If you want red keys, a thin red plastic film behind the keys will give this effect, as well as looking cool!

Imho, keypad lights should be soothing and not flashy. But everyone has different likes!
