> help needed for k508i
Bookmark topic
Hello friends.
I recently purchased a k508i (supposed to be same as k500i except for upgraded firmware).
One of the problems i notice is that even if i change volume either by changing profile name, or changing volume level in settings tab, or using silent mode, the volume i get for listening to ringtones and videos and the camera capture is constant.
That is, even if i select silent mode, i will still hear the camera "click" and volume of any ringtone/video.
Ofcourse, when i receive a call, then the volume of ringtone is in accordance with what i set in profiles.
Now how can i turn of the volume also for "listening" to ringtones and videos/mp3s/camera capture voice..??...
see it gets very irritating whenever i have to take a picture through camera to listen to that capture "click" sound...
any help..??/

You cant switch off the camera click in any profile as it has been made illegal for phone makers to do that now (or so i been told) so your stuck with that mate.

But there are some guys who say they have managed to silence it by some firmware upgrade. There are a couple of threads about this which may be of help to you.
