Hello everyone.
I currently have a K700i on O2 and am having the problems I'm sure you have all heard about with receiving text messages. They can take ages to come through (a week in some cases) and it is very inconsistent. O2 know of the problem and they are the only network with these problems (despite them saying otherwise). They have offered to swap the phone but not for another K700i. They have offered me, amongst others, a Nokia 6230, a Motorola V600 and an O2 X3.
I don't want to change from Sony Ericsson but I would like to receive my text messages. I have 6 months to go on my contract and have tried to end it but O2 say they are not in breach of contract as they are offering me a replacement phone.
So.... should I desert SE or not????

@benny - Some Nokia fones are good too mate ! Yes, the 6230 and 6630, though I must admit that the

S700 is much better than the

K700, and can outbest the two Nokias that I made mention here !

it has nothing to do with the fone, as peter mentioned its a network bug.

@Bobafett.
I wish O2 would admit that it's their networks fault! Last time I spoke to them they claimed it was the phone that was at fault and that it had been withdrawn from all networks! (Load of rubbish)
If they can't offer me an S700 then I want to end the contract. I can then go out and get a V800 on Vodaphone!!
I don't think I could really desert SE
