> S700i fussy about bluetooth headsets?

I just sold my Logitech Bluetooth Headset cause it didnt work properly with my S700i - and so I got this new Nextlink Bluespoon AX - but damnit, that doesnt work either.
Whats the problem with S700 ?!
The problem is, when the BT is connected to S700, and you then turn off the headset (according to the headset manual, it will send disconnect signal to the other unit, when turning off) - S700 still think the headset is connected, and you will have to manually go into the Bluetooth menu, and disconnect (annoying!!)
And even worse - when the headset is connected, and theres an incoming call - s700 disconnects the headset and goes back to 'Normal' profile, and therefore you cannot answer the call with the headset.
What does a guy have to do, in order to get a bluetooth headset to work, around here?

When I had R3B, it never worked - the phone crashed 10 secs after I connected a BT headset.

I use the BlueTrek G2 with and and it works superbly, my firmware is R3F.

Just purchased a Jabra BT250. The dealer had it and showed me how it was working with his K700, and no problem - it connects and disconnects on the second, whenever you turn it on/off - perfect.
Haven't tested it on S700 yet, but I guess it works the same.

Well, here's the deal...
Jabra BT250 works GREAT with S700i !!! It was so easy to setup (just like any other, of course). When I turn off BT250, it disconnects from S700 on the second, and S700 goes to "Normal" mode. When I turn on BT250 again, it connects to S700 within a few secs, and S700 goes into "Handsfree" mode. The BT mode on S700/K700 appear to be this 'sniff mode' thingy, which means the units are always connected, but uses no more power than if they were in standby mode. Rather clever, actually.
Also with BT250 I can redial the recently outgoing call, put a call on hold and resume a hold call. Of course also answer and deny an incoming call.
BT250 is very comfortable both in and behind the ear.
About Nextlink Bluespoon AX (which I had some problems with before - that actually drove me pretty crazy...
) - I was told by a former employee at Nextlink, that Bluespoon AX shouldn't have any problems with S700, hence it worked on his K700 and also worked on his S700 when he had one for test. However, he also said that, and I quote "Yes, it is a standard [bluetooth], its just a shame that it's not the same [units]" - meaning, just because headset A works with handset A, it doesnt mean that it also works with handset B, not even if A and B are the same model and same software. Weird, but I suppose thats why the Bluespoon AX was a real bitch to me.
Anyway - im happy now. I found love in my
S700i & Jabra BT250... Ahh, the wonders of a wireless life... cheers
