wouldnt it be a good idea if SE could provide a mailing list for service update of the pxxx series ? its goes like this :

you provide your e-mail to SE, when there is a software update available, they e-mail you to tell you about the update.simple.

yes i think it is, i have checked the SE site and couldnt find anything relating to a mailing list. i think suggesting this to SE would be a good idea as well.
