I would like to think that I use pretty much every aspect of my
s700i. I constantly use the camera when I am out and about, I use
bluetooth and pair it with my home computer and my laptop for work,
have heaps of games, use msn messenger on it, the organiser, calander
and so on. But one thing that puzzles me is the edit picture function.

(View picture More --> Use --> Edit)

Just curious if anybody else has problems using the edit picture
function? I find the edit picture function is only available when I
use the frame function when taking photos. If I take normal photos
the Rotate, wallpaper, startup and use on contact are the only
options available. I am not sure if it was built like this for a
reason, or if am the only person that has this issue. But I think it
would be great to be able use the edit feature on all photos not just
the ones within a frame. I found the Vodafone manual to be totally
useless. It just tells you about how to use the edit picture option
rather then giving information about when it is available.

If anybody can let me know how the option is suppose to operate it
would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

I have the same function on my z1010 and to use it, the picture you want to edit has to be in the phone memory, not on the memory card. I use the edit function as a way to zoom in to pictures. Try this and let me know if it worked. This message was posted from a Z1010

Thanks John...took a 640X480 photo and save it to my Phone Memory and still have the same problem. I'd be interested to find out if it is something do with vodafone version of the software or if all s700i users have the same outcome.

Thanks for your help.

The picture has to be 320x240. I think it mentions that somewhere in the manual.

When using the frames the phone selects this size automatically.

Thanks guys...just think it is kind of silly not being able to edit decent size images. Especially with the capabilities of the camera.
