hey i was just wondering if any of u could help me. well my pc is broke, i connect to the internet and everything is fine but abou 3 -4 mins later it cuts off and says the page can not be displayed.But msn messenger still works can anyone help as it is restricting me from 1 of my favourite websites esato.

Download a winsock cleaner that cleans all your internet faults in your registry. I could send you one but my mum has been on the comp for 24 hours

u checked the phone plug ? one of the wire's may be lose a constant problem i have, if u open the box thye wores are all gribbed in plce make sure there all in securely this ussually helps..
Have you updated the software / reinstalled the software ? try using another browser such as firefox see if the same happens

I had the same problem once, on freeserve broadband. Eventually I could only open the freeserve homepage, everything else gave me page could not be displayed. It is a winsock error, I think - try a repair install from the Windows CD.

Have you done a thorough virus scan, and a scan for spyware to rule those out?

yeah but they were crap makes. and freeware see my cd rw drive just broke well i unplugged it a it wont work anymore
