So after the T610->T630 conversion everything appeared to be working correctly (apart from the keypad light, no big deal) until I actually went to use the phone!
It vibrates fine, the aeriel's fine, I can hear the other person fine but they can't hear me at all!
If anyone knows how I should of put the microphone in properly (or better yet some photos) that'd be fantastic, I think there are two sections isn't there? A bronzey coloured one and a black piece that sits on the top, maybe I've got them the wrong way around or upside down?
Due to my job it's sometimes hard to go too long without a mobile, so if you know the answer please post it here becuase I'm getting desperate now!
Cheers

You might not have tighted it correctly. Make sure it is ok and not too tight. Only if it is tight, it makes contact.(i think)

Oh right I see, I'll try that although I'm pretty sure I put it in as tight as possible
Whilst taking it from the old case to the new one, like I mentioned it kinda fell apart (the two sections, the black section and the bronzey/copper section) so I'm not 100% sure I put them together correctly (I think maybe the one part's upside down?)
The problem is I don't get any reception at home, so it's not like I can take it apart and test it, I have to wait until I go out so it's important I get it right I guess.

I took the whole thing apart yesterday, every single piece almost and managed to assemble it back together in perfect working order (except for the microphone bit of course) without the help of any 'experts' (of whom probablly don't know anymore than some people on here).
All I need is for someone to tell me which order and which way up I need to place the bronzey/copper and the black parts of the speaker please
Like I said, I can't just try it out either, because I don't have any reception at home!

I think the metal should come down(pcb) and black on outside.

This is how it is at the moment, but like I said I'm not 100% sure if I've got one of the parts upside down or not, or whether or not that even makes any difference?
I've done numerous google searches with no luck. that's why I decided to post here

Why don't you take it to an SE service center? If you're not sure what you're doing? Why risk opening and end up and damaging the phone?
