ok i had it working fine and free for browsing on pay&go but it didnt work for nsm/jmsn etc. said it could get a direct connection, and to check if it was a full gprs connection or just wap. whats the deal? how do i get it set right? surely the p900 on o2 pay&go can have a full connection?

no, sorry it cantbe done.. pay n go sims dont support it. by the way, welcome to esato :-)

I had jmsn working on dialup on contract so try that,only because i had an old o2 online contract with 500 mins of dial up a month but mobile web works best and is only available on contract

What do you expect? It costs the network to maintain the connection, what input do prepay users put into the network compared to us? mobile.o2.co.uk works for contract...

i wouldnt pay o2 with a contract if they offered a 100mbps service, thier signal is shite round here. are people on pay&go not entitled to use a good phone to its true potential? its ridiculous
