ok ive been trying out a few programs on my-symbian then my [hone got really slow so i used service menu to format the phone but after the formt ive not really notied any change infact its still lagging! other than that 1/2 files were still there on the c:\ after which is the best format for my phone? and should i uninstall what i have on the memory stick before i format the phone or dosent it matter? any help would be appriciated!

Indeed, some files are "restored" in C: every time you plug your MS by the fact that OS need thouse files.
Mayba you have a buggy app installed in your MS, dunno, try with a clean MS.

you should install an app called diskcleaner, solved your problems straight out. btw maybe your c:were full. the same thing happens with my p8 about 6 month ago, the phone starts lagging real bad and i had to manually delete unused installation file, unistall desktop softwares such as tracker and the thing gets back to normal

i have diskcleaner on and have used it the only file it canna delete is appforge theres only 1file it canna delete i would of thought the format would of tho! i trid to un write protect it and delete it but... no joy! if i had my comp. id format the phone and stick! still lagging abit
