I bought an HBH-600 headset from ebay last week for AU$71. It is an australian release with aus warranty which is all good. I am amazed at the capabilities of the headset such as the voice dialling etc. - awsome - but the sound seems to be a bit muffled, not very crisp... is everybody experiencing this?

I find the sound quality of the 600 generally excellent. But it doesn't have the noise cancellation of the bigger headsets, so wind noise or other ambient noise can be a problem...

How is the quality with the HBH-600 when you are driving?

With my 600, I could not make a solid call when driving... Sound quality was weird...
With HS-810, everything came back to normal, great quality. The people I talked to while on the highway told me they could clearly hear any noise from my car.

I have the HCB-300 in the car, but on those occasions where I've used the HBH-600 instead, I've noted only one problem--driving over cobblestones seems to make the reception wig out. I suspect it's to do wtih the frequency of the bumps or something.

I have had no problems with my HBH-600 while driving my 1986 Ford Orion at 120km/h or more, that's some background noise...
